
Jiajing Sun
Jiajing Sun, Ph.D., Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Fellow of the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (FIMA). She obtained her Ph.D. in Management from the University of Liverpool, UK, in September 2011. Currently, she serves as the Deputy Director of the Department of Statistics and Data Science and Deputy Director of the Teaching and Research Office at the School of Economics and Management, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. She was responsible for organizing the 2022 and 2023 Asian Econometrics and Statistics Summer Schools, handling liaison with internationally renowned scholars and conference logistics. In teaching, she has received awards such as the Special Teaching Award for Young Faculty and the Outstanding Graduate Course Award for her teaching and research achievements. Several students she has supervised have received honors such as "Three-Good Student," "Outstanding Communist Youth League Member," and "Outstanding Student Cadre." In research, her papers have been published in journals including "Journal of Econometrics," "Journal of Environmental Management," "Economics Letters," "Environment and Planning C: Politics and Space," "Journal of Multivariate Analysis," "Statistical Research," and "Applied Probability and Statistics," and she has presented her research findings at numerous international conferences. She has led several National Natural Science Foundation of China projects (including the general project "Self-Normalized Time Series Analysis Based on Adjusted Sample Ranges") and participated in multiple horizontal research projects, achieving positive results in talent cultivation in financial regulation, economics, digital technology, and financial technology research.
